What is the warranty on your smokers and grills?

All our grills and smokers carry a 5-year warranty.

 

Where do you ship to ?

Anywhere in Canada for most products, however Smokers and Grills are in-store pick-up only. 

 

What items can I get engraved?

Any cup we sell without a handle can be laser engraved. Additionally flasks, water bottles, phone cases, and cutting boards are just a few of the other items we can engrave for you. Laser engraving makes a perfect way to customize products for yourself or and to use as a gift. Feel free to contact us for further questions about custom engravings. 

Custom engravings are final sale. 

 

What’s your return policy? 

We offer a 14 day exchange policy or a in-store credit for unopened items. 

 

What happens if I never received my order? 

Canada post will provided a tracking code after you have placed your order. If you did not receive this tracking number, please contact us directly at (403) 347-5890 or email us at backcountryrecreation@outlook.com . 

 

I’m new to BBQ. How do I pick the right grill?

Every member of the Backcountry Recreation team is passionate about grilling. If you are unsure what piece of equipment is right for you, just ask one of our associates to help!

 

I’m looking to try something new. Do you have any recommendations?

You’ve come to the right place! We are a team made up of people passionate about the BBQ lifestyle. Stop by and ask us about some of our favourites. Whether you are looking for something spicy all the way to needing something gluten free, we can help guide you in the right direction.

 

I want to browse your selections. Do you have any physical locations?

Our retail store is open 7 days a week so you can come say hi and see all the awesome products we have to offer. Located at 7667 50 Ave Bay 15 in Red Deer, AB.

At Backcountry Recreation we have deep roots in the community and love supporting local. We therefore strive to carry several local brands, along with other Canadian and American companies that are dedicated to creating high quality, and unique products.

 

What’s the difference between a grill and a smoker?

The main difference between grilling and smoking is the heat level and the cooking time. Grills usually cook over high temperatures for a short time, while smokers cook low and slow.
